Overview and Features
- The Full Face Performance (FFP) means that the “Hot Zone” of maximum .830 COR is spread across a larger area of the club face to create further distance even from a miss hit.
- The Distance Driven Geometry means that the weight is lower and deeper in the clubhead
- The Energy Transfer Core is a system of thin, lightweight titanium spines that directs the energy from impact on to the ball leading to better energy transfer and faster ball speed
- The sweet spot and the COR Hot Spot are aligned to produce optimal launch conditions over a bigger area of the club face, meaning ball speed is maximized for longer distance

Description
In the Cleveland HiBore XL, the company has ensured to combined precision, power and forgiveness into one driver. The weight on the Cleveland Hi Bore XL is low and deep in the club meaning an optimized center of gravity. It also has a face-centered sweetspot to produce more distance from anywhere on the clubface and high Moment of Inertia (MOI) to promote stability for those off-center strikes. With the Sweet Spot and COR aligned, energy is efficiently transfered to the ball. All these features combine to produce greater overall distance and tighter shot dispersion over the entire face.
The HiBore XL is high launching and produce low amounts of spin off the face. This results in the ball reaching the apex faster and going further than other drivers.
The HiBore XL comes with a Fujikura shaft that consists of a two shaft system specifically designed for the driver itself.

This isn’t the longest driver off the tee i’ve used but is extremly forgiving on miss hits. Gives me a lot of confidence when i walk up to drive. I typically average 220-260 with this driver. i’m not good enough to shape my shots so i can’t comment on this aspect
It takes awhile to get use to the look of this driver and the sound when you strike the ball is horrible. But I find this to be a good driver to play with. I hit this driver a lot and i get more roll from it than others. Its hard to shape my shots, however. This was a good driver for one season but I’m now exploring other options.
Weird noise when you hit the ball but they do go long and straight. Can’t complain about that! I like the look but it might be just me. Looking for a stiffer shaft soon.
This baby is a weapon. It hits the ball hard and flat. Won’t be leaving my bag in hurry unless I’m going to be using it. I usually drive pretty far (270ish yards) but I’m now getting probably an extra 15 yards with this driver. My confidence and accuracy has improved. Takes a little time get use to but its worth it. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed
Looks bad, sounds bad. Not a driver for me.
