Description
The TaylorMade Burner’s long length, lightweight and large head combined together to ensure that this driver is the faster driver ever made by the company. The Burner SuperFast technology reduces the club weight to 299 grams (down from an average of 320). This means that you are able to create a faster swing speed and therefore more distance with your drives. At the same time, the bullet-shaped head has a center of gravity that is far back to ensure that you can launch the ball high and deep. The aerodynamics of the clubhead is designed to not effect the speed. This is all combined with the SuperFast RE*AX 50 gram shaft which is lightweight and stable to ensure more distance and accuracy.
The club also includes the Inverted Cone Technology which means high Moment of Inertia (MOI) - MOI keeps the ball straighter, promoting less of a draw and less of a fade. The club has a large 460 cc clubhead, and a extremely strong titanium body and face.

I’m in love with this driver. I can hit the ball much straighter and futher - 20 yards further - and my back isn’t hurting afterwards. This club swings itself and sends it flying.
Wow! I took my new burner for a test run and I was able to hit the ball straight and long consistently. Provided I kept my head down and swung ok I couldn’t miss. I’m a 12 handicap. This club has me swinging all day!
Went out to the range yesterday and used different Pings, Nike’s, Callaway, TaylorMade. Out of all of them the Burner was the most comfortable and I hit easily the longest drives with it. Looong, looong way. After 2 hours I was hooked. Feels great.
I bought the Burner for my son’s birthday and well, I wish I’d kept it to myself. I would call myself a typical golf junkie who has tried all sort of different drivers. It is very forgving when we went to try it out and I can hit the ball a long way down range off the tee like I haven’t done before. I’ve already bought my own from Ebay, can’t wait for it to arrive. I would recommended this driver for players of all types!
My MD raved about his new driver which happened to be a Burner. I was playing with a Ping but thought I needed a change so I took the plunge and bought one. I could hit with the ping 220-240 with a massive slice. But the Burner = WOW!! I’ve never had a club make such a massive difference to my game. I reckon I could be in the mid 70s soon from the 80s. I’ve never been so excited about golf.
