Description
The r7 Draw Driver is one of the new generation golf drivers designed to ensure that you are able to have much straighter drives. It utilizes TaylorMade’s Draw-Weighted technology, the latest materials and newest construction techniques. In appearance, it looks very similar to the r7 425 and 460.
The whole design of the r7 Draw is to help those players who need to hit the ball straighter, higher and longer. The Draw-Weighted Technology means that an open channel towards the toe has been engineered into the club, freeing up a significant amount of weight. Therefore the club’s center of gravity is shifted closer to the shaft and means that the clubface is sped up during the downsign. This helps to produce a draw because the player will find it easier to square the face on impact with ball, reducing the slice spin and adding draw spin.
The Inverted Cone Technology which increases the Coefficient of Restitution (COR) region of the club - in other words, the “springy” part of the clubface. The more COR your club has the higher the ball velocity and longer drives you can make. The extra-large 460cc clubhead means the club has very high Moment of Inertia (MOI) which therefore ensures that it has fantastic forgiveness and long, straight drives even with those on off-center hits. Finally, the r7 Draw includes a 55-gram RE*AX soft-tipped graphite shaft that feels great and promotes a high launch angle. The driver is backed by a two-year warranty.

This driver has been a godsend! I have struggled with slicing with my driver for years. Some of the claims about the TaylorMade r7 seemed too good to be true but after hitting a dozen balls I was convinced - this driver now means I can hit straight as an arrow. My slices and fades have now turned in fantastic draws and I have struck some of the longest and straighest drives in my life with this driver.
If you are having problems with slicing off the tee, give this club a try!!!
This club is so worth it! I never thought any club could knock off 5-7 strokes off my round but this has. I have to say I’m shocked at how good it is. I been telling everyone I know about it and given them a try. They all have their own now, thats how good it is!!! Buy it!!
Ok, I’m going to say this - this is a fantastic club and I’m estatic that I’ve bought it. *BUT* don’t expect that this club will revolutionize your game because it won’t. I was a really bad slicer of the ball and this club has been amazing in helping me overcome my slice. But you can still slice with this club! I still had to work on my swing and other issues that were causing me to slice… this club helped yet i still had to do the work!!
Amazing!! This driver actually work. I bought mine on ebay. Went out on the first round and hit 6(!) long, low draws - YES! Great feel to it, nice sound when struck.
i have a 20 handicap and have awful problems with slicing off the tee. i bought this driver online and literally went out the afternoon that i got it. i hit probably 15 balls with my old driver, and then 15 with my new taylormade. what a difference! this club is worth $$, would be happy to pay more for such a club. it outperforms all the others i know
